All-Conference teams announced for CCC and MPC

The Central Carolina All-Conference teams have been announced for the spring sports seasons.
In baseball, CCC champion East Davidson was well represented placing six on the team, including Pitcher of the Year Nick Williams and co-Coach of the Year Dan Tricarico. Senior catcher Nathan Campbell was runner-up for Player of the Year, while Tyler Rhodes, Kelvin Pena and Ryan McIntire also received recognition.
In golf, the Golden Eagles had Scott Swaim and Jake Fowler make all-conference.
In softball, East first baseman Bailey Jones took home Player of the Year honors, while Brooke Walser was tabbed Pitcher of the Year. Others from East making the team are Brooklyn Hopkins, Bayley Plummer, Morgan Key, Selena Metcalf, Andrea Grant, Allison Wike and Sydney Bowles.
Making all-conference in tennis from East were Jake Finlay and Brett Fuller.
In girls soccer, Charity Oliver of Thomasville was named to the team. Receiving recognition from East were Lori Morgan, Madi Hallman, Jessica Ferguson, Makala Watkins and Taylor McPhatter.

Ledford well represented on MPC teams
The Mid-Piedmont All-Conference teams have been released for the spring sports seasons.
Ledford's softball team won the conference championship and swept the board in top honors, as Destiny DeBerry was tabbed Player of the Year and Charlie Brown Coach of the Year. Other Panthers receiving recognition were MacKenzie Cranford, Erin Crotts, Bayleigh Griffith, Jessica Hayworth, Megan Hayworth and Brinley Irvin.
In baseball, Michael Horrell, Chaz Shields and Austin Stilley made the all-MPC team.
Ledford's golf team was represented by Anthony Bradley, Parker Hughes, Trey Ragan, Jordan Mayo and Ryan McClellan.
In soccer, LHS placed Tori Farlow and Hannah Perryman on the team, while tennis was represented by Will Harrington and Randy Norwood.
In boys track, Ledford placed Thomas James and Tristan Shaver.
Ledford had 10 make all-MPC in girls track. Emily Boger led the way being named Running Event Winner and Most Valuable Athlete. She was joined on the team by Allison Carter, Courtney Cefalo, Kev'via Copening, Samantha Curren, Tally Gross, Morgan Marion, Ashton McGhee, Sidney Powell and Sidney Russell.
For the school sports season Lexi Kershaw was named Female Athlete of the Year and Austin Stilley was Male Athlete of the Year.
