A formal service will not be held. J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family.
LEXINGTON — Virginia Sue Faulkner Hankins, 62, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in Forsyth Medical Center.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in J. C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville. The family will greet friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., prior to the service.
OXFORD, NC — Joyce Bean Harrington, 79, a resident at Oxford Manor and formerly of Thomasville, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Liberty Drive in Thomasville. Memorials may be directed to Trinity United Methodist Church.
THOMASVILLE — Jennifer Dawn Hill, 30, died Thursday, Feb 14, 2013.
A memorial service was held Tuesday Feb 19, in J. C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville.
THOMASVILLE — Hazelene Byrd Honeycutt, 80, died Monday, February 18, 2013.
The funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb.21, in J. C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville. Interment will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Feb. 20) and other times at the home.
LEXINGTON – LeRoy McCarn,77, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today (Feb. 20) a Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Linwood United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Matthew Tyler Troublefield
LEXINGTON — Matthew Tyler Troublefield, age 26, of Gleneagle Lane, Lexington, died unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at his home from a congenital heart illness.
The funeral service was held 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Revs. Jimmy Greene and Terry Smith. Burial followed in Ruby and Clyde Snider Cemetery in the Churchland community.
Tyler was born December 23, 1986, in Forsyth County to Randy and Tammy Hamm Troublefield. He was a member of Smith Grove Baptist Church. He also was a member of Tango Alpha II semi pro paint ball team and a faithful community volunteer of Hospice of Davidson County. He also loved to go rock climbing. Tyler was a graduate from West Davidson and ECPI College of Technology.
His brother, Michael Chase Troublefield, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his parents of the home; a sister, Taryn Troublefield, affectionately called “Bubbles,”of the home and her boyfriend Corey Justice of Lexington; and his grandparents, Braxton and Sarah Snider Troublefield of Churchland; and also Jimmy and Rachel Coppley Hamm of Lexington. Also surviving are his aunt, Penny Lovelace and husband Mike of Advance, and a cousin Easton Lovelace of Advance.
Thanks to his many friends who have stood by him and special thanks to Bobby and Evelyne Swing; T.J. & Lillian Slaughter; Kaye Smith Orman and the staff of Hospice of Davidson County.
