Rev. Harvey Y. Criminger, Jr.
WINSTON-SALEM — The Rev. Harvey Y. Criminger, Jr., 84, formerly of Salisbury, died Thursday, July 4, at Winston-Salem Nursing and Rehab after an extended illness.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Salisbury. Burial will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday prior to the funeral service.
Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.
LEXINGTON — Thomas Hoyle Hedrick, age 74 of Lexington passed away Friday morning. Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Friday in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Edith Harvey Lawing, 91, a resident of Gumwood Road, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013, at Hinkle Hospice Home.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Peggy Finch officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30, prior to the service, at J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville.
THOMASVILLE — Mr. Frank S. Murphy, 78, a resident of Thomasville, died Thursday, July 4, 2013.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family.
CLEMMONS — James Randolph Wooten, 75, of Sunset Road, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Entombment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
