LEXINGTON — Thomas Allison Fritts, 67,  died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 29,  at his home. The family will receive friends following the service at the home. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.

Ronnie Griffin
DENTON — Ronnie Hilton Griffin, 71, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today (June 1) at the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville.

Edward  Heiney
THOMASVILLE — Edward Alfred Heiney, 64, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at his home.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, in J. C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville.  Interment will follow at 1 p.m.  in the National Cemetery in Salisbury.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (May 29) at the funeral home.   

Linda Howington
WINSTON-SALEM — Linda Feree Howington, 66, died Monday, May 27, 2013.
A celebration service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 31,at the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. The family will received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Robert Kindley
THOMASVILLE — Robert William Kindley, 84, died Sunday, May 26, 2013, in Pine Ridge Health and Rehab.
A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, in Hughes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville and other times at  633 Russell Summey Drive, Thomasville.

Ronnie Owens
LEXINGTON  — Ronnie Owens, 58, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center.
A memorial service was held  Sunday, May 26,  at Davidson Funeral Home.

James Edward Warren
CONWAY — James Edward Warren, age 81, husband of Mrs. Joyce Smith Warren, passed away May 24, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Warren was born in Thomasville, NC a son of the late Luther Warren and the late Etha Hartman Warren.  He was predeceased by one son, Danny Lee Warren, and a brother John Warren.
Mr. Warren retired as a Colonel from the United States Army. He received the Purple Heart while serving in Korea with the 82nd Airborne.  Mr. Warren was involved with AA on a daily basis while living in Winston-Salem.
Surviving Mr. Warren in addition to his wife Mrs. Joyce Smith Warren are a daughter, Teresa King and her husband Danny of Conway; a sister, Marlene Thacker and her husband Millard of Durham, NC; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Warren; and a grandson, Caleb Warren, both of Elon, NC.
