THOMASVILLE — Lois Elizabeth Russell Bryant, 87,died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center.

The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30,  in J. C. Green & Sons Chapel in Thomasville. The interment will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 29.

 

David Byerly

THOMASVILLE — David Wayne Byerly,  42, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center from injuries sustained in an accident.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville, and other times at the home of his brother.

 

Rev. Dr. W. Gerald Causey Sr.

TRINITY — The Rev Dr. W. Gerald Causey Sr. 75,  died Friday, April 25, 2014 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center.

The funeral service was held Monday, April 28,  in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel.  Burial  followed in Hughes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Jackie Crouse

THOMASVILLE — Jackie Crouse, 88, died Sunday, April 27, 2014.

The funeral service will be private.  Arrangements by Thomasville Funeral Home.

 

Jesse Lanier

DENTON — Jesse Franklin Lanier, 90, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.  Burial with military honors will be at MountainView Memorial Gardens. Briggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Alfred Riggio

LEXINGTON — David Alfred Joey Riggio, 69, died Saturday,April 26, 2014, at his home.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1,  at Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church in Huntington, W.Va.. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.

 

Donald Rheuark

THOMASVILLE — Donald Rheuark, 69, died Sunday, April 27, 2014.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Caraway Baptist Church. Interment with full military rites will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.  Mr. Rheuark will remain at the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service.  The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 30.

 

Donald Sidden

LEXINGTON — Donald Gene Sidden, 65, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at Forsyth Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Pinedale Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home. A private burial will be held in  National Cemetery in Salisbur. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.

 

Patrick Worley

THOMASVILLE — Mr. Patrick Brian Worley, 36, a resident of Thomasville, died Friday afternoon, April 25, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. 

He was born September 20, 1977, in Guilford County, a son of Randy Worley and Kay Jenkins Worley.  He was employed with Mark Conner Enterprises.

Surviving are a daughter Jayden Worley and a son, Ryan Worley, and their mother, Pamela Williams all of Lexington; his mother, Kay Jenkins Worley of High Point; his father and stepmother, Randy and Tammy Worley of Texas; a brother, Steven Worley and his wife Patty Holloway of Thomasville; paternal grandmother, Margaret Meade Worley of Thomasville; aunts, Becky Maynard and husband Jeff and Edith Messer and husband Billy, both of Thomasville; uncles, James Lee Jenkins of High Point and Michael Jenkins and wife Linda of Sophia; a niece, Zoe Worley of Greensboro; a special friend, Mark Conner and many good friends (affectionately known to him as his “brothers”).

A Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel with Rev. Donnie Lunsford officiating.  The family will greet family and friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks a donation may be made toward the education needs of his children, Jayden and Ryan.  Those attending the service will have an opportunity to make a donation at that time.
