HIGH POINT — Margaret Duncan Faircloth, 84, of High Point, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, at Memorial United Methodist Church in Thomasville. J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home is serving the family.
THOMASVILLE — Todd Dean McGill died on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County in Lexington.
The funeral service will be held 11: 30 a.m. Monday, July 21, in Brown New Calvary. Public viewing and visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 20. S. E. Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Services assisted the family.
DENTON — Mr. James Bruce Snider, age 88, of Denton died Monday, July 14 at Hinkle Hospice House following a brief illness.
A graveside service for Mr. Snider will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 18 at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
Mr. Snider was born April 25, 1926 in Davidson County to Everett and Cora Mae Pierce Snider. He was a co-worker with The Living Church of God. He worked as a land developer and was owner/operator of Snider Lumber Company. He was a former member of the Denton Lions Club and Woodmen of the World. He was preceded in death by his son and daughter-in-law, Stanley Bruce and Helen Surratt Snider and brothers, Warren and Lowell Snider.
Mr. Snider is survived by his wife, Vonciel Bisher Snider of the home, grandson David Bruce Snider and wife Jill of Denton, John Snider and wife Carole of Pfafftown, sister, Elaine Voncannon of Denton and sister-in-law, Sylvia Snider of Mt. Airy. He is also survived by 2 great-granddaughters, Mercedes and Taylor and three nephews, Arlie and Allen Snider and Ben Voncannon.

LEXINGTON — Edna Thomason Watkins, 85, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at her home.
The funeral was held Monday, July 14, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Forest Hill Memorial Park.
