LEXINGTON — Rachel Vermell Bobbitt Ingle, 79, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at High Point Regional Health System.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Beck’s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.

LENIOR — Leavon “Bonnie” Mae Lail Key, 78, died Monday, Nov, 5, 2012, at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Morganton. Inurnment will follow at the Jehovah Witness Cemetery, Morganton. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Morganton. Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory of Valdese is serving the family.
LEXINGTON — Lillie Moore Leonard, 80, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Davidson Funeral Home and other times a the home.
Mary Ann Alexander Michael
MARIETTA, GA. — Mary Ann Alexander Michael, 52, of Marietta, Ga., died September 19, 2012. A memorial dervice will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Memorial United Methodist Church, 101 Randolph Street, Thomasville, NC.
Mary Ann was born on January 6, 1960, in Thomasville to George Thomas Alexander, Jr and Martha Zellars Alexander, both deceased. Her surviving family consists of three brothers, George Thomas Alexander III and his wife Lynn of Savannah, Ga.; James Mark Alexander and his wife Ann, and Clark Zellars Alexander and his wife Diane, all of Marietta, Ga.; and eight nieces and a nephew, Carrie and Laura Alexander of Tampa, Fla.; Isabel and George Thomas Alexander IV of Savannah, Ga.; Caroline, Julie, Kendall, Payton, and Dawson Alexander, all of Marietta Ga.
Mary Ann graduated from Thomasville Senior High School (1978), attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and received an *a*ssociate degree in dental hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College. She worked as a dental hygienist in Thomasville and Winston-Salem.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in loving memory to Memorial United Methodist Church, Thomasville, NC. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

THOMASVILLE — Mrs. Margaret Hill Norton, a resident of Burke Trail, Thomasville, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 in the High Point Regional Hospital.
She was born November 21, 1925. in Davidson County, N.C., a daughter of Cleveland Cletus Hill and Elizabeth Brinkley Hill. She was a graduate of Thomasville High School.
Mrs. Norton formerly served as President of Celand Yarn Dyers, Inc. and Vice President of Hill Hosiery Mill, Inc. She was a former member of the Thomasville Womans Club and the Advisory Board at Wachovia Bank. Mrs. Norton was a member of West End United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and ballroom dancing.
In 1946 she was married to Joe H. Yokeley, who died April 2, 1979. In 1986 she married James G. Norton, who died November 1, 1997. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Rebecca (Becky) Leonard and Joan Hester.
Surviving are sons, Steve Yokeley and wife Martha and Chris Yokeley and wife Suzan, both of Thomasville; grandchildren, Scott Yokeley and wife Kelle, Eric Yokeley and wife Jessica, Jonathan Yokeley and wife Heather and Erin Yokeley; six great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Jean DeLaSerna of Pennsylvania and Carolyn Saylor and husband Cliff of Virginia; stepsons, James Norton and wife Betsy of Tennessee, David Norton and wife Diane of Georgia, and Doug Norton and wife Sally of Charlotte; sixteen stepgrandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012, in West End United Methodist Church with the Rev. Myra Ward and the Rev. Bill Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Norton will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home until the service hour. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday and other times will receive at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Martha Yokeley, 804 Lake Drive West, Thomasville.
