Lindsay Aldridge

LEXINGTON — Lindsay Rae Aldridge, 27, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at her parent’s home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5,  at Becks Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be after the service in the fellowship hall. Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is serving the family.

 

Terry Hege

LEXINGTON — Terry Eldridge Hege, 57,  died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice House.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5,  at Pilgrim Reformed Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4,  and other times at the home.

 

Eric Herring

LEXINGTON — Eric Thomas Herring, 23, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5,  at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.

 

Jamie Kirkus

LEXINGTON — James William Kirkus III, 46, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014,  at Lexington Medical Center.

The funeral was held Sunday, Feb. 2, at Grace Alliance Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is serving the family.

 

Maxine Myers

THOMASVILLE — Maxine Myrick Myers, 95, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. J.C. Green & Sons in Thomasville is serving the family.

 

Peggy Paul

PEMBROKE — Peggy Scott Paul, 91, died Monday, Feb. 3,  at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m Wednesday, Feb. 5,  at Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs, preceded by visitation at 10 a.m.

 

Stephen Philemon Sr.

LEXINGTON — Stephen Dearmond Philemon Sr., 70,  died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Rowan Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6,  at Forest Hill Memorial Park.  Burial will follow. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.

 

Ronnie Sanders

LEXINGTON — Ronnie Sanders, 55,  died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Yadkin Baptist Church in Spencer. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home. Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is serving the family.

 

Carl Taylor

LEXINGTON — Carl Lee Taylor, 83,  died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Pine Ridge Health of Thomasville.

A public service will not be held. Davidson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Connie Watson

LEXINGTON — Constance (Connie) Ackley Watson, 73, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014.

The graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Hill Memorial Park.  Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.

 

Jerry Cole Williamson

TRINITY — Jerry Cole Williamson, 71, of Trinity, died Monday, February 03, 2014 at Hospice Home of High Point.

Jerry was born December 19, 1942 to the late Theodore and Frances Cole Williamson. He enjoyed a successful career in sales, retiring in 2007 from Arthur A. Oliver. Jerry was a longtime member of the Hartley Drive YMCA of High Point, where he formerly served as a board member and was an avid racquetball player.

On May 25, 1963, he married the former Glenda Hopkins, who survives of the home. Jerry is predeceased by his parents and his granddaughter, Katherine (Kate) Thornton.

In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by daughters, Susan Williamson Thornton and husband Joe and Carla Williamson Kent and husband Rob; sisters, Sandra Williamson Dixon and Linda Williamson Leonard; grandchildren, Jarod Thornton, Parker Thornton, Julia Faith Thornton, Isabella (Bella) Thornton, Audrey Kent, and Claire Kent.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Rodney Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
