William David 'Satch' Blevins
THOMASVILLE — Mr. William David “Satch” Blevins, 54, a resident of Rotary Lane died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Forsyth Medical Center.
He was born on December 11, 1959 in Harford County, MD to the late Malcolm Earnest Blevins, Sr. and the late Frances Marie Gullion Blevins.
Surviving are his daughter, Natalie Blevins of Wisconsin; brothers, James Dennis Blevins and wife Valerie of Edgewood, MD, Joseph Blevins, and Malcolm E. Blevins, Jr. and wife Renee, all of Thomasville; sisters, Cynthia Helton, Kathern Peterson and husband George, all of Thomasville, and Lucy Meadows and husband Bill of High Point; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with the Rev. Jimmy Garrett and the Rev. John Bishop officiating.

THOMASVILLE — Lisa Ann Cable, 50, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Archdale. A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, in the Sugar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion. J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville is assisting the family.
Joe Don Cline
THOMASVILLE — Mr. Joe Don Cline, 77, a resident of Thomasville, died Monday, January 27, 2014 in the High Point Regional Hospital.
He was born August 1, 1936 in Davidson County, a son of the late Allie Burton Cline and Lottie Chapman Cline. Joe Don and his brother Jerry owned and operated Cline Masonry for over forty-three years. He was a member of Pine Woods United Methodist Church, the Endeavors Sunday School Class, and the Methodist Men and had served on the Board of Trustees.
On August 6, 1954, he was married to Greta Craver, who survives of the home. Also surviving are sons, Danny Joe Cline and wife Sheila and Terry Don Cline and wife Gena, both of Lexington; granddaughter, Amanda Cline of Lexington; special grandson, Levi Cline of Lexington; special cousin, Trudy Sowers of Thomasville and a brother, Jerry Cline and wife Sue of Thomasville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 4 p.m. in Pine Woods United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Burris and the Rev. Keith Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Cline will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home until taken to the church thirty minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home.

LEXINGTON- Joe Perry Cope, 84, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at Hinkle Hospice House.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Davidson Funeral Home is serving the family.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at at Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery. J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
FORT MILL, S.C. — Allison Lea Hamilton Lawson, 37, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014.
The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at Liberty Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lawson will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville until taken to the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Jan. 29).
Christine Craddock Roberson
RED SPRINGS — Mrs. Christine Craddock Roberson, daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Craddock Hackett, the second youngest child in the family, was born on August 3, 1918, in Jackson County, Georgia.
The family moved to Red Springs, North Carolina in 1923 when the children were young. Christine, known and called “Chris” by many, attended and graduated from high school in Red Springs.
On August 5, 1952, Christine was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Monroe Roberson. He preceded her in death after 27 years of marriage. Christine was a faithful member of Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church as long as her age and health permitted. She was a member of the Missionary Department.
The close of her final chapter in this life came on Saturday, January 25, 2014 when she entered into a kingdom of eternal peace.
Christine leaves to cherish her memories, one brother, Mr. John Craddock of Philadelphia, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 – 11:30 am Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Red Springs, NC.
Funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:30 am at the church. Burial will follow at Center Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Red Springs.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. today( Jan. 29) in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
