Gregory Craddock

THOMASVILLE —  Gregory Devinci Craddock, 56, died Sunday, February 23, 2014, in O’Berry Center in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, March 1, in S.E. Thomas Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 30 minutes before the service and other times at the home of his brother, Albert (Van) and Inell Craddock, 2500 Bellemeade Street, Apt 1D, High Point.

 

'Jimmy' Leonard          

LEXNGTON — James “Jimmy” E. Leonard, 74, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at the home of his son in Salisbury.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at their respective homes. A graveside service will follow the visitation  at Psalm 91 Church Cemetery.

 

Irene Mabry

LEXINGTON — Irene Elizabeth Swaringen Mabry, 88, died Thursday, Feb. 27,  at Alston Brook Nursing Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2,  at Center Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 4:30 p.m. in Porter Baptist Church Cemetery in Norwood. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Davidson Funeral Home.

 

'Jackie' Nutter

THOMASVILLE — John ‘Jackie’ Lemeul Nutter, 57, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at his home.

The service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Smathers Funeral Chapel in Rainelle, W. Va.  Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville, W.Va.

 

Mary Smith

LEXINGTON — Mary Lou Wafford Smith died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1,  at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb, 28, at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.

 

'Buddy' Watkins

LEXINGTON — John Wade “Buddy” Watkins, 66, died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014.

A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in the Garden of Faith. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28,  at the funeral home and other times at the home. A gathering of family and friends at Christian Baptist Church Fellowship Hall will follow the service.

 

Dianne Yates

DENTON — Dianne Marie Grubb Yates, 67,  died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at High Point Regional Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 1,  at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
