Cameron Hill

THOMASVILLE — Cameron Gage Hill, 7, a resident of Kendall Mill Road, died Saturday morning, August 2, 2014 at his residence.  He was born July 14, 2007 in Davidson County, a son of Jason Derrick Hill and Heather Nichole Watford.

Cameron was an honorary member of the Fair Grove Fire Department.  He loved fishing with his father, swimming with his mother and playing with his baby sister.

Surviving are his parents, Jason Derrick Hill and Heather Nichole Watford; a sister, Baileigh Marie Hill of the home; brothers, Dylan Chance Hill of Tennessee and Daniel James Trotter of Wallburg; maternal grandparents, Amanda Lynn Lovelace of High Point and Jesse Odell Watford, III of Thomasville; paternal grandmother, Alice Marie Hill of the home; special cousin, Christeen Black and friend Bob Manor of Thomasville; special friends, Dr. Dan Entwistle and Jake Connor; and numerous cousins.

The funeral service was held Monday, August 4, in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel with Mr. James Laine officiating.  Burial followed in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family request memorial contributions may be directed to Kids of Childhood Cancer Fund, c/o Brenner Hospital, 9th floor, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, N.C. 27570.

THOMASVILLE — Ruth Etta Hawley Crockett Mackert, 61, passed away, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her residence.

A private family service will be conducted. J.C. Green & Sons, Inc. in Thomasville is serving the family.

 

Misty Price

LEXINGTON — Misty Lea Huffman Price, 28, passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, due to injuries from a car accident.

The funeral service was held  Monday, Aug. 4,  in J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville.  Interment followed in Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point.

LEXINGTON — Charles Gray Nance died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, Aug. 5, at First Baptist Church of Welcome. Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.

LEXINGTON — Debra (Debbie) Johnson Trent, 57, died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her home.

The funeral service was held Monday, Aug. 4,  Davidson Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial  followrf in Forest Hill Memorial Park.  Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is serving the family.
