KENERSVILLE — Roger Barfield Black, 79, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Triad Rehabilitation Center.
A private service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter. Davidson Funeral Home assisted the family.
THOMASVILLE — Scott Edward Dupree, 55, died Thursday, June 27, 2013.
A private memorial service will be held . J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home assisted the family.
THOMASVILLE — Shannon DeShawn Lambert, 35, of Thomasville, NC, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013.
A formal service will not be held. Shannon will be cremated and his remains will be placed with his children. Shannon was born in Thomasville, NC on Sept. 22, 1977, to LaRhonda Lambert and Ricky Causey.
Shannon is survived by two children, Lucas Michael Born and Kayla Renee Lambert; father ,Ricky Causey; sister, Mandy Causey; niece, Addison Causey; nephew, Maddox Russo; grandmothers, Donnie Lovette and Macel Smith; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Shannon was preceded in death by his mother LaRhonda Lambert and grandfather RL Lovette.

THOMASVILLE — Frances Jane Adams Younts Mooney, 78, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at her residence.
A private family graveside service was held Friday, June 28, at Heath Church Cemetery. J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home assisted the family.
LEXINGTON — Benjamin Gibbs “Beno” Philpott, 60, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at the Hinkle Hospice House.
The memorial service was held Friday, June 28, at Grace Episcopal Church. Davidson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
THOMASVILLE - Albertha Michell Pugh, 43, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Thomasville Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church 30 minutes prior to the service and other times at the home. S. E. Thomas Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
ASHEBORO — Jacksie Hall Staley, 69, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral service was held Friday, June 28, at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville. Interment followed in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
