Neighbor dispute ends in arrest
A Saturday night dispute between neighbors ended with a Thomasville man facing a weapon charge.
According to a Davidson County Sheriff's Office press release, deputies on Saturday night responded to 1899 Kennedy Road in reference to a domestic disturbance involving a firearm.
Following an investigation, deputies allege James Gregory Floyd, 49, of the same address, used a shotgun to threaten neighbors by firing two shots in the air during a verbal altercation. Deputies arrested and charged Floyd with common law going armed to the terror of the people. He was placed in the Davidson County Jail and issued a $2,000 secured bond. Floyd is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 28.
