What's your New Year's resolution?
I can't help but look forward to a new upcoming year. (The year) 2012 has been a year full of losses for me and those dear to me, so with God's help and leading, I'm brainstorming ways to make this a better year. Number one, find a reason to smile as often as I can. Number two, know that God knows, understands & has a purpose for all the things that are perplexing me in my life, at this and all times.

I'm in college and I'll be graduating from Davidson County Community College in May, so I really want to graduate with honors. I want to get involved on campus (at UNCG) in the fall of 2013. I just got back from Texas and visiting my dad, who is coming down from Texas in May for my graduation. He's going to come back and go to all his favorite places, because he moved there recently, so he hasn't visited here in awhile.

I plan to spend more time with the family. My resolution would be to fish more this year and get my (4-year old) boy out there fishing for the first time. The most memorable things from 2012 have been my 2-year-old starting to talk more, my oldest starting to share more. Teaching my oldest how to fish and my youngest how to talk better is what I'm looking forward to most in 2013.
