Three men arrested in Randolph metal thefts
Randolph County Sheriff's Office has arrested three men for stealing metal from an Archdale business.
Terry Ronald Bowman of Thomasville and Davin Kirk Stroud of Archdale have been charged with felony larceny, first degree trespassing, injury to personal property, two counts of misdemeanor larceny and two counts of possession of stolen goods.
Dustin Ray Bowman of Thomasville was charged with misdemeanor larceny, first degree trespassing and injury to personal property.
According to a press release, deputies responded to a larceny-in-progress call at Design Masters on Prospect Street at 7:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17. Deputies found a section of a wooden fence had been removed at the main gate and the three men removing metal from a trash bin.
As of Jan. 22, Bowman and Stroud were being held at Randolph County Jail under $10,000 secured bonds. Dustin Bowman was being held under a $5,000 secured bond.
Investigators were working on two previous larcenies that occurred at the business on Jan. 13 and 19 that involved metal theft.
Based on evidence from the previous two larcenies, deputies charged all three men in connection to two previous larcenies at the business.
