Man stabbed with pocket knife
An 18-year-old Thomasville man is charged in connection with the stabbing of his father.
According to a press release from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to 245 Regina Drive in Thomasville on July 27 in reference to a a 43-year-old man stabbed with a pocket knife.
Andrew Dale Loflin of the same address was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury. Loflin also was charged with misdemeanor assault on a handicapped person. Deputies said that incident occurred moments prior to the stabbing.
Loflin was placed in Davidson County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond. His court date is Aug. 20.
