Randolph seeks leads in murder of Tina Rook

Sheriff releases composite of suspect

Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has released a composite drawing of a suspect that may be linked to the murder of Tina Mae Rook, 35, of High Point.

Rook was found stabbed Oct. 13 on Thompson Road in Archdale. She was taken to High Point Regional Hospital where she died from her injuries.

An eye witness saw Rook get into a white full-size single cab truck with a white male in the driver’s seat in the area of Clinton Avenue and Lincoln Drive in High Point. The male was described as being 35-50 years of age with brown shaggy hair.

Randolph County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information about the identity of the unknown male, subsequently leading to the arrest of the suspect.
