Two wanted in connection to vehicle break-ins arrested

Two Thomasville residents are being sought by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office in connection to vehicle break-ins in the Finch Farm Road area of Trinity.

According to a press release from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. a string of car break-ins occurred in the area Jan 4-14.

Money, electronics, tools, debit and credit cards were stolen from at least a dozen vehicles. Several expensive electrical meters and computers were stolen from a work truck.

Investigators have recovered approximately $35,000 in stolen property from these car break-ins and have identified two suspects.

Brian Bourn, 30, and a Theresa Chapman, 26, face charges of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, felony larceny, and felony possession of stolen goods.

Investigators said Bourn are possibly in the drug areas of Thomasville and High Point. Anyone with information of their whereabouts should call the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office at 318-6699, Randolph County CrimeStoppers at 672-7463, or your  law enforcement agency.
