Traffic stop yields multiple charges
A traffic stop June 11 at Hasty Hill and Burton roads in Thomasville led to multiple charges against a Thomasville man.
A license check revealed that the registration plate was stolen.
William Joseph Huneycutt, the driver, had outstanding warrants out of Randolph County. Additionally, Huneycutt was driving while license revoked as well as driving a vehicle with no liability insurance.
Huneycutt, 27, of 1115 Hasty Hill Road, was charged with possession of stolen property, driving while license revoked, no liability insurance, and displaying a fictitious registration plate.
Deputies also served the outstanding warrant for arrest out of Randolph County. Hunneycutt received a $2,000 secured bond and was placed in the Davidson County Detention Center.
His court date is July 16 for the Davidson County charges.
