DCSO charge Thomasville man with growing pot
A Thomasville man is facing drug charges after deputies found marijuana growing in his home.
According to a Davidson County Sheriff's Office press release, the Vice Narcotics Unit and Thomasville Police Department conducted a drug investigation at 510 Concord St. During a search of the residence, detectives found six marijuana plants in a room modified to grow pot, along with a handgun and several items of drug paraphernalia.
Detectives arrested and charged Brandon Hedrick, 24, of the same address, with manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hedrick was placed in the Davidson County Jail and issued a $10,000 secured bond.
