Two arrested in metal theft

Davidson County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people in connection to metal thefts in Linwood.
According to a press release, deputies received a report Oct. 31 that Spencer Police Department had conducted a traffic stop on Main Street in Spencer. During the stop, police found several thousands pounds of metal from a construction site on Interstate 85 in a vehicle occupied by the two men.
The Davidson County Sheriffs Office Breaking and Entering Task force responded and during their investigation found that $44,800 worth of metal had been stolen from the site.
Charged in connection to the theft were Ronald Adam Breithaupt, 26, of 204 Heilig Ave.
Salisbury and Brian Wiliam-Heflin Domke, 30, of the same address.
Breithaupt was arrested on Nov. 6 and charged with two counts of felony larceny from a construction site and was given a $7,500 secured bond with a court date of Dec. 10.
As of press time, the Sheriffs Office was still attempting to locate Brian William-Heflin Domke, who faces the same charges.
