Three linked to thefts on Horneytown Road
Three people have been arrested in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins and thefts in the Horneytown Road area.
According to a press release from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, multiple car break-ins and the theft of a golf cart from a Curry Road residence had been reported July 26.
The next day the victim from Curry Road reported another break-in. He awoke to find that someone had broken into his detached garage. His truck was stolen along with other items.
Detectives with the Sheriff's Office developed leads early in the investigation. With the assistance of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and the Winston-Salem Police Department, a majority of the stolen property was recovered.
On Friday, Aug, 2, detectives charged and arrested Robert Troy Clark, 25, of 5127 Hillwood Drive, Kernersville.
On Thursday, Aug. 8, Brittany Lynn Johnson, 18, of 69 Lowery Drive in Thomasville, and Macy Rena McCasland, 20, of 2221 Shadow Valley Road in High Point, were arrested.
All individuals involved were charged with felony first degree burglary, felony larceny of firearms, two counts of felony larceny of motor vehicles, three counts of felony breaking and entering to motor vehicles and felony larceny.
McCasland received a $75,000 secured bond; Clark, $10,000 secured; and Johnson, $5,000 secured.
All three are being held in the Davidson County Detention Facility with a court date of Aug. 26.
