Man charged in connection to two thefts

An investigation on Oct. 2 of a breaking and entering at 520 Embler Cemetery Road in Thomasville was linked to an Oct. 3 theft at 196 Chapel Drive in Thomasville, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.

Allen Randall Land, 30, of 231 S. North Point in High Point was charged Nov. 12 with  two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm, larceny of a financial card, financial card fraud, possession of a firearm by convicted felon, attempted obtaining property by false pretenses and  nine counts obtaining property by false pretenses.

Land was arrested at the Guilford County Jail where he was given a $25,000  secured bond with a court date of Dec. 13 in  Lexington.
