Two Denton Road men face drug charges

Two men who live at 4252 Denton Road face drug charges from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a press release, the Vice/ Narcotics Unit found several items used to manufacture methamphetamine, eight firearms and drug paraphernalia. Deputies also seized 31 marijuana plants, three morphine pills and18 Xanax pills.

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation assisted with the items found used to manufacture methamphetamine. 

John W. Pritchett, 42,  and James Kenneth Pritchett Jr.,  50, both of 4252 Denton Road were charged.

John Pritchett was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.

James Pritchett was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond. In addition, James Pritchett Jr. was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell a schedule IV drug (Xanax), possession of a schedule II drug (morphine), maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The seizure of  marijuana plants, morphine pills, Xanax pills were connected to James Pritchett. For these charges his bond was listed as $50,000 secured.
