Daughter arrested in break-in
Deputies with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office arrested the daughter of the 911 caller following a breaking and entering at 1631 Sexton Road in Denton.
According to a press release, the victim on Aug. 25 called 911 and said that her daughter, April Renee Kearns Moss, was trying to break into her residence through the screen door. The victim told 911 she was scared of her daughter because she uses drugs.
When deputies arrived, the suspect, whose residence was listed as Budget Inn on Randleman Road in Greensboro, had left in a vehicle which later was located at the Quick Check in Denton. The suspect was placed under arrest with a charge of felony breaking and entering, larceny, misdemeanor breaking and entering attempted.
Moss, 28, was placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $20,000 secured bond with a court date of Sept. 25.
