Two men arrested in 911 call

Two Archdale men face charges after a vehicle was set on fire at 6075 Cedar Square Road.

Randolph County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched Aug. 23 to the address in reference to a larceny in progress. The first deputy found that the vehicle had been set on fire.

Darrell Faucette Folwell, the property owner, 66, of 5587 Folwell Drive, Archdale, and David Allen Ilderton, 33, of Muddy Creek Road, Lot 1, were charged.

Folwell, who called 911, was charged with felony burning personal property and misdemeanor damage to property. Folwell was incarcerated at the Randolph County Jail under a $3,500 secured bond.

Ilderton was charged with misdemeanor attempted larceny and second degree trespass. Ilderton was incarcerated at the Randolph County Jail under a $1,500 secured bond.
