Drug charges net $50,000 bond

A two-month undercover investigation by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Vice Narcotics Unit led to the May 24 arrest of a Thomasville man. Detectives purchased oxycodone, oxymorphone and psilocybin (or mushrooms).
Richard Lee Hill Jr., 26, of 288 Brook Drive, was charged with four counts of selling a schedule II controlled substance (oxycodone, oxymorphone), four counts of delivering a schedule II controlled substance (oxycodone, oxymorphone), selling a schedule I controlled substance (psilocybin / mushrooms), delivering a schedule I controlled substance (psilocybin / mushrooms) and two counts of selling a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of school or daycare.
Hill received a $50,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 25, 2013.
