Charges against McCall dropped, police say

Charges against a High Point man accused of robbing two convenience stores in Thomasville have been dismissed, said Thomasville Police Department.

Detectives on Jan. 8 consulted with the Davidson County District Attorney's Office after learning a witness had changed their statement. The decision was made to dismiss charges against Bryant Keith McCall.

McCall was initially charged with the robberies that took place at the Fairway One Stop,  600 National Highway,  on Sept. 9 and Kings Food Mart, 805 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, on Oct. 23.
