Deputies: man cut with large kitchen knife

As of Wednesday, the Davidson County Sheriff's Office sought the whereabouts of fourth suspect wanted in connection to an assault and kidnapping in Linwood.

According to a press release, the victim told deputies that in the early morning hours of April 16, he had been assaulted by four individuals, cut several times with a large kitchen knife, transported to a different residence and then told that he could not leave their sight until his wounds and injuries had healed.

Deputies said the incident began at a home on Swicegood Road. The victim was taken three miles to a second residence, 113-E JR Lambert Road in Lexington, where he was again threatened and made to stay until Thursday evening. 

According to the press release, the victim was escorted by one of the suspects to a hospital, where the victim received treatment and was released. After treatment, the victim was able to leave the suspect.

As of Wednesday, three people had been arrested and one remained at large.

Hayley Marie Story, 17, of 2739 Swicegood Road, Linwood.was charged April 18 with assault and battery. She was placed in Davidson County Jail under a $1,000 secured bond.

Brandy Louise Ramsey, 32, of 8974 Old Salisbury Road, Linwood, was charged April 20 with assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon and second degree kidnapping. She was placed in jail under a $50,000 secured bond.

Jonathan Toolin, 21, of 113-E JR Lambert Road, Lexington was charged with assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon and second degree kidnapping. He was placed in jail under a $100,000 secured bond.

As of Wednesday, deputies had not located David Arthur Baker Jr., 24, of 286 Carolina Acres Road, Lot 3, Lexington.. A warrant was issued April 21 alleges assault and battery and second degree kidnapping.
