TPD looking for armed robbery suspect

Thomasville Police Department is looking for an armed robbery suspect who was last seen on foot behind Sir Pizza.
According to a TPD press release, officers responded Cielito Lindo, 518 National Highway, Thursday morning at 10:46 a.m. in reference to an armed robbery. The clerk told police a black man entered the business with a gun and demanded money before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money. He last was seen fleeing on foot behind Sir Pizza, 520 National Highway. No customers were in the store at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported.
Police describe the suspect as a black man, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 215 pounds, wearing jean shorts, a black t-shirt with a grey shirt underneath, and a black "do-rag" covering his face.
