Stolen vehicle in hit and run
A Lexington man faces numerous traffic charges after a hit-and-run Dec. 22.
According to a press release, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office investigated larceny of a motor vehicle and found that the stolen vehicle had been involved in an accident near the city of Lexington on Dec. 21.
Brian Keith Shore, 40, of 322 East Road, Lexington was identified as the driver and charged with giving false information to law enforcement. He was served warrants by the N.C. Highway Patrol of felony hit and run, careless and reckless driving to endanger and driving while license revoked.
Bond was set at $10,500 with a court date of Feb. 19.
