Police apprehended man connected to theft

Dollar General reported theft of items, valued at $198

Items stolen from Dollar General Store were seized by Thomasville Police Department Feb. 5 after a traffic stop on U.s. 29/70.

According to a press release from the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Dollar General Store t 7401 Old Greensboro road following a larceny in progress call.

While deputies were en route, the suspect left the scene in a vehicle.

Deputies and Officers retrieved the stolen property — four blue ray DVDs and eight video games, all valued at $198.

Charged in connection to the theft was Kshawn Moore-Baker, 21, 118 Lawndale Ave. in High Point.

He was placed in the Davidson County Detention Center under a $1,000 secured bond and scheduled to appear in court on March 7.
