More than 300 people attended the annual Craft Fair held by Thomasville Parks and Recreation last Saturday.

Crafts ranged from Christmas spiders, jewelry, candles and even the photography of David Yemm.

"The Craft Fair turned out to be a great success with 30 different vendors from around the state,” said Program Director Cory Tobin. “The Parks and Recreation Department is excited with the results and look forward for an even better event next year."

More Christmas spirit is expected next week with the Thomasville Christmas Parade.

The Fair Grove Lions Club and Thomasville Tourism will host the downtown parade at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. Applications are available online and at Thomasville Tourism in the Depot on Main Street. For more information, visit or contact Patricia Carroll at 474-1228 or Mark Scott at 472-4422.
