Dustin Gallimore: Welcome home

Peighton Weaver, who just turned 1 on May 22, is all smiles after she meets her uncle, Senior Airman Dustin Gallimore, for the first time.
Gallimore, the son of Mike and Susan Gallimore, returned to his hometown of Thomasville June 1 after deployment to Al Udeid Air Base since September. He is currently stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, La., where he is a member of the 2nd Security Forces Squadron.
He will return to Barksdale later in the month.
Excitement in his family ran high for his homecoming.
Peighton, with the help of family, of course, held a sign that read: "I have waited 376 days to meet my uncle."
The Gallimore family erected a banner with an American flag flying above.
And there's one more step the Gallimore family took. They asked the Times to convey this special message: "Welcome home, Dustin, and thank you for your service."
