Leadership Davidson County, which provides insights to economic development, education, government and human services, is accepting applications through Jan. 17. Applications are available through the Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce.

More than 500 business leaders have completed Leadership Davidson County in its 24 years.

“Those folks have greatly benefited from knowledge and experiences gained through this program,” said Doug Croft, president of the Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce.  “There is a great track record of personal and business development success amongst the graduates.

“LDC continues to impact people, businesses and organizations throughout Davidson County.   “

Businesses are encouraged to identify a leader to attend the sessions.  All sessions are structured from 8:30 a.m. to  3:30 p.m., which allows flexibility in the latter part of the business day.

The cost for the five-session program, including overnight retreat lodging, meals, and all materials is  $545.  Sessions run February through June.
