The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the American Cancer Society are teaming up to hold a Relay For Life event in honor of William and Tricia Creasey. The Creasey family was chosen to receive a home makeover from ABC's hit TV series. Tricia Creasey, a seventh grade teacher at Brown Middle School in Thomasville, is battling stage four colon/rectal cancer. 

The event will be held from 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 to 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13 at Central Davidson High School in Lexington. They are seeking community members to participate and camp overnight and have a team together to walk for the 24-hour period. A special luminary ceremony will be held, along with the traditional Cancer Survivor's Lap. For more information, contact the American Cancer Society at (336) 834-0844.
